About the opportunity: The Staff Pharmacist will interpret, prepare, file, and dispense medications on the order of physicians. The position will conduct all aspects of retail pharmacy operations according to all state, federal, agency, and organization regulations as well as with the mission, vision, and values of Vail Health. In the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, ensure that day to day operations of the pharmacy are in compliance with the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations, as well as supervise and coordinate the Pharmacy Technicians' activities and duties. Assist the Pharmacy Manager with personnel decisions, including hiring, disciplinary actions, and evaluations. Professionally interact with medical and nursing staff to provide quality pharmacy services. Assist with budgetary process for the department.
