About the Role
Join a high-volume Central Fill Pharmacy supporting a leading national retail chain. This position focuses on automated prescription refills in a fast-paced production environment-no patient interaction, phone calls, or insurance processing required. Under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, you'll help prepare, package, and distribute medications accurately and efficiently to meet daily production goals.
Key Responsibilities
+ Accurately fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules.
+ Perform basic math to calculate and verify medication quantities.
+ Replenish automated dispensing cells, handling large quantities of medication.
+ Prepare specialty and cold-chain prescriptions following strict handling protocols.
+ Assist with packing and shipping prescriptions for timely delivery.
+ Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and pharmacy safety standards.
+ Conduct weekly cycle counts and inventory audits; investigate discrepancies.
+ Identify and escalate issues promptly to ensure workflow continuity.
Skills & Qualifications
+ Active Washington State Pharmacy Technician License (CPhT)
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
+ Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a high-volume setting.
+ Flexibility for mandatory overtime (typically 1 hour; occasionally up to 2 hours after major U.S. holidays).
