Pharmacist at Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital - Arlington: * The Pharmacist is responsible for daily operations, personnel management and regulatory compliance of pharmacy services for the facility, when on duty without the Director being present * This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. * The Pharmacist communicates the needs of the department to The Director of the Department and collaborates with medical staff regarding prescriptive issues and therapy recommendations. * The Pharmacist supports management team in meeting facility goals. Qualifications Education: * Bachelor's degree in pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy. PharmD. preferred. Licensure/Certification: * Current Texas Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license * IV Certification (ACPE certified) * BLS Required Experience: * Have two (2) to five (5) years hospital pharmacy experience * Demonstrate competent knowledge of the development needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. * Knowledge of Joint Commission and Medicare standards affecting pharmacy. * Must possess ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously. * Possess the ability to deal tactfully with all types of personnel, medical staff and the public. * Possess the ability to make independent decisions. * Must have ability to act as liaison between personnel and management.
