Responsibilities:
Review batch records and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with SOPs and cGMP.

Assists and supports Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as, ordering, unpacking, checking and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. May assist pharmacist in administering clinical services including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other clinical services as required; assists pharmacy staff in coordination of clinical services, Walgreens healthcare clinics and external providers.
Assists Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in developing and maintaining good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other health care providers, by medical provider detailing and outreach to health groups, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for enhancing growth opportunities.

We are seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to oversee sterile compounding operations within a modular cleanroom suite. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with USP , , and other applicable guidelines. * Provide training and technical guidance to compounding and support personnel performing aseptic manipulations, presterilization activities, visual inspection, labeling/packaging, materials/equipment preparation and movement.
* Perform and accurately document compounding procedures, quality assurance/quality control checks, of compounded sterile preparations
* Review and approve materials prior to use in sterile compounding
* Oversee use of equipment used in sterile compounding operations to used in sterile compounding operations in conjunction with the maintenance team
* Oversee cleanroom workflow, daily logs and environmental monitoring procedures in conjunction with quality.
* Work closely with R&D Teams on the development and scale up of new compounded sterile preparations.

Position Overview

Inpatient Pharmacist (FT, 100%)-Variable
Chillicothe, OH
The Staff Pharmacist at Adena Health ensures the safe, therapeutic, and rational use of medications across the health system. This role includes educating patients and staff, maintaining compliance with laws and accrediting standards, and exercising independent clinical judgment or collaborating with other healthcare providers. You may have access to confidential patient and financial information, controlled and non-controlled medications, and hospital resources.
Depending on your assignment, duties may include:
* Patient counseling on medications and disease states
* Administering injections and performing minor lab procedures
* Interpreting lab results and following approved protocols
* Providing care across all age groups or a specific population
* Coverage at any Adena facility as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
* Education: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited BS or PharmD Program in Pharmacy
* Licensure/Certifications:
* Current Ohio Pharmacy license
* BLS; ACLS based on area assigned
* Immunization certification as applicable
* Experience: 1-2 years preferred in assigned area
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Ability to prioritize duties and communicate clearly
* Proficient in computer/software data entry
* Dexterity to prepare pharmaceutical products and operate pharmacy equipment
* Strong focus on patient care and service
