Supervise the pharmacy and pharmacy staff to ensure proper order entry, workflow and security of the pharmacy area. Verify prescription information entered in the system by data entry or order entry. Provide training to lesser trained pharmacists and pharmacy staff. Provide oversight to technicians and review for quality assurance. Back up other pharmacists or pharmacy staff with order entry, prescription refill authorizations, telephone lines, to ensure efficient support to patients. Ensure that the pharmacy is compliant with all local, state and federal rules and regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy.
