Basic Qualifications
BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.

(Methadone, Buprenorphine, and Naltrexone) coupled with counseling, peer recovery support,
and case management to deliver an integrated model of care in addressing the opioid crisis.
Position Summary:
Cedar Recovery is seeking to contract a pharmacist on a PRN or part-time basis for its Opioid
Treatment Program (OTP) in Bristol, VA. The pharmacist is a key leadership role within the
facility. The candidate must possess a valid and unrestricted license to practice as a pharmacist
in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Pharmacist will ensure compliance with DEA and state
rules regarding the ordering, storage, logging, and administration of medications, including
take-home doses. The pharmacist is expected to collaborate with medical staff to ensure
consistency between the ordering and dispensing of medications. This position reports directly
to Cedar's Deputy Chief Medical Officer.

Position Summary:
Cedar Recovery is seeking to contract a pharmacist on a PRN or part-time basis for its Opioid
Treatment Program (OTP) in Bristol, VA. The pharmacist is a key leadership role within the
facility. The candidate must possess a valid and unrestricted license to practice as a pharmacist
in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Pharmacist will ensure compliance with DEA and state
rules regarding the ordering, storage, logging, and administration of medications, including

* Interpret, fill/refill, label and bag prescription orders completely and accurately
* Evaluate appropriateness of RX orders with consideration to patient safety, and legal requirements
* Provide drug counseling with customers and prescribers

**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
+ Provides information to customers about medications and their use
