The Pharmacist will oversee and provide direction related to quality, clinical and compliance for Apotheco Pharmacy operations initiatives in compliance with state and federal laws. Making sure all drugs have a minimum of 6 months prior to expiration 14. Perform return to stock duties for prescriptions not picked up within 14 days 15. Facilitate and monitor compliance with Prescription Drug Monitoring programs. 19. Oversee pharmacy team operations compliance (e.g. transferring prescriptions, handling inbound/outbound physician calls, efficient drug utilization management, safe dispensing, providing accurate and timely medication dispensing, & ensuring adherence and compliance with all state and federal regulations). 20. Ensure quality and productivity standards are met and/or exceeded in a consistent basis. 21. Lead in communicating management of Pharmacy policy and procedures relevant to pharmacy compliance and quality standards; I. Facilitate implementation of new programs, enhancements. II. Maintain professional licensure, competence, knowledge and skills necessary to effectively complete responsibilities, enhance job knowledge and ability to actively pursue learning and self- development for you and your staff. Responsible for filing those logs electronically and in file cabinet. VI. PIC will be responsible for Alarm at site. PIC will have to be one of the people assigned on the alarm system or as assigned. VII. Recall of drugs responsible for returning drugs to wholesaler or direct vendor both legend and C2. Maintaining paperwork as required and contacting members when necessary. VIII. Expired drugs: responsible for determining procedures along with manager of fulfillment pertaining to disposal and credits of expired drugs. IX. Inventory: aid in the process of inventory validation as needed. X. Variances with inventory validate along with manager of inventory and finance any variances. XI. C2- all C2 prescriptions must be counted by a technician and then recounted by a pharmacist. C2 count one section per week or delegate to another pharmacist and record in controlled substance log. Part-time Description Ideal School of Allied Health Care is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Pharmacy Technician Instructor to train and mentor students in our Pharmacy Technician Program. The instructor will provide classroom instruction, hands-on lab training, and guidance to prepare students for certification and entry-level positions in the pharmacy field. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging course materials following the school's curriculum and industry standards. Teach students fundamental pharmacy skills, including medication preparation, prescription processing, dosage calculations, and pharmacy law. Demonstrate and oversee hands-on lab activities such as compounding and inventory management. Prepare students for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) . Assess student progress through exams, projects, and practical demonstrations. Provide mentorship and career guidance to students, fostering a supportive learning environment. Maintain student records, attendance, and grades in accordance with school policies. Stay current with industry trends and certification requirements. Collaborate with school administration and faculty to ensure program success. Requirements Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in a retail, hospital, or compounding pharmacy setting. Prior teaching or training experience preferred. Certifications & Licensure: Active CPhT certification from PTCB or NHA required.
