Schedule Details Location: On-Site (Laguna Hills, CA) Hours: Monday-Friday, available for shifts between 6:00 AM and 5:30 PM (any 4- to 8-hour shift, as needed) Duties and Responsibilities Receive new prescription orders from authorized prescribers or individuals permitted by law. Consult with patients or their legal representatives about prescriptions, either before or after dispensing, or provide information regarding any medical details in the patient's medication record system. Identify, evaluate, and interpret prescriptions accurately. Ensure optimal medication prescribing in terms of indication, dosage, route, frequency, allergy history, and avoid duplication or interactions with other medications. Assist in the transfer of prescriptions between pharmacies, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to legal requirements. Participate in pharmacy-related tasks and programs, including supporting short-staffed areas and other necessary duties as directed. Assist in making timely changes to meet regulatory, accreditation, licensing, and government agency standards and laws. Perform other duties as assigned.
