Coordinate delivery and serve as the first point of contact for service-related inquiries. Edit fill list verification, including insurance information and medication alignment. The Opportunity The Sterile Compounding Technician will be responsible for compounding sterile GLP-1 medications, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and adhering strictly to regulatory standards and internal SOPs. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong math skills, and proficiency with sterile equipment. The technician will oversee the sterile compounding process, pass required tests (e.g., fingertip tests), and ensure that all compounds meet the required quality standards. What you'll be doing: Compound sterile GLP-1 medications accurately and aseptically in accordance with formulations and recipes. Operate compounding equipment, including repeater pumps, to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production. Adhere to all SOPs and regulatory guidelines to maintain sterility and safety throughout the compounding process. Conduct required fingertip and media-fill tests to demonstrate proficiency in sterile techniques. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in both paper and electronic formats, following pharmacy regulations. Complete batch records, verify calculations, and document compounding steps precisely. Identify potential errors or deviations in the compounding process and implement corrective actions. Proactively optimize workflow to increase efficiency and maintain high standards of sterile compounding. What you'll bring to HeliosX: You demonstrate Sterile Compounding Proficiency: Understanding and performing aseptic techniques, maintaining a sterile environment, and accurately compounding formulations. You have great attention to detail: A critical skill for identifying errors, ensuring accuracy in measurement and documentation, and spotting any inconsistencies in procedures or results. You showcase mathematics and calculation Skills: Essential for precise dosing, calculating concentrations, dilutions, and other measurements accurately. You have quality control and compliance experience: Knowledge of regulatory standards and SOPs for sterile compounding, with the ability to follow strict protocols and ensure products meet quality requirements. You have equipment operation experience: Proficiency with sterile compounding equipment, especially repeater pumps and other dosage measuring tools, to ensure consistent and accurate compounding. You have experience with record-keeping: Capability to maintain thorough and accurate documentation, both in electronic and paper formats, following regulatory requirements for compounding records. You're excellent at problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues during compounding, identify errors, and implement corrective actions efficiently. You showcase leadership and training abilities: Experience in directing and mentoring other technicians, fostering a collaborative and compliant work environment. You have good communication skills: Effective communication to ensure understanding of SOPs, compliance requirements, and instructions among team members. You are good with time management and efficiency: Skill in managing time to complete compounding tasks within deadlines while maintaining quality and compliance standards. Qualifications: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with specialized training in sterile compounding. Certifications: Passing required sterile technique tests (e.g., fingertip and media-fill tests).
