* Immediately reports prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adheres to Company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program.
* Strictly adheres to the Walgreen Co. policy regarding Good Faith Dispensing
* Responsible and accountable for registering all related sales on assigned cash register, collects and handles cash as required. Takes customer to OTC aisle when possible to assist in locating products.
* Handles telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians.
* Assists and supports Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as, ordering, unpacking, checking and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. Maintains knowledge of Company asset protection techniques, and files claims for warehouse overages (merchandise received, but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed, but not received), order errors or damaged goods involving Rx drugs.
* Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring the Pharmacy Department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat and orderly in condition and appearance.
* Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
* Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

The Tech II, Nuclear Pharmacy participates in all aspects of facility and equipment preparation, including inventory management and performing and recording all tasks as mandated by law. As part of operating in a nuclear pharmacy, this job assists in compounding of drugs in line with manufacturer specifications, performing quality checks, and participating in the dispensing process. In addition, this job assists in order preparation, entry and fulfillment as well as completing ad hoc tasks, as required. Schedule
Monday-Friday from 12:30AM to 9:00AM
Responsibilities
Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle
Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
Performs quality assurance tests on instruments and radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with Federal, State, Company and manufacturer's guidelines
Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods

Works under close supervision. All work is reviewed for accuracy. Any deviations from the norm are approved by the supervisor before proceeding
Qualifications
Active PR Pharmacy Technician License and Registration is required
Associate degree as Pharmacy Technician is required
Must hold a PR valid driver's license and have a good driving record
Prior delivery driving experience a plus
Ability to lift containers weighing 70+ pounds
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work night shifts, weekends and/or holidays and to work various shift is required
Experience in Hospital IV compounding and Sterile environment is preferred
Demonstrated ability to use technology such as computers, smart phones and tablets
