Primary Accountability The Pharmacist is responsible for performing various functions related to the Pharmacy Department. Description of Primary Responsibilities Responsible for performing functions related to the Pharmacy Department. Receives prescription orders from providers. Verifies patient specific information and reviews/enters data into the pharmacy practice management system. Process labels for new and refill medications. Evaluates, selects, procures, and distributes prescriptions to patients. Return outdated/expired, damaged, over stock, and recalled merchandise for credit and proper disposal. Responsible for performing Medication Management Therapy for clinic patients per clinical protocols. Responsible for functioning as a Pharmacist-In-Charge in the absence of designated Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC). Ensures Pharmacy compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as Family HealthCare Network policies. Functions as a Pharmacy Tech or Pharmacy Clerk, as directed. The Pharmacy Technician Liaison - PACE position serves PACE customers by answering inquiries, resolving problems, fulfilling requests to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.
