Meetings and Events is responsible for the development, planning and implementation of internal and external meetings, events, and trade shows aligned with strategic business and brand objectives.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Assists in planning and execute meetings per guidelines given by meeting manager.
+ Work with senior team members to assist with audio visual arrangements, and food & beverage orders as needed
+ Management of travel related items on-site pre & post event
+ Adherence to compliance items
+ Participate in internal and external meetings on weekly basis
+ Work in CVENT to track travel and hotel requests, registration reports, manage mobile app
+ Assist with onsite logistics
+ Merging, collection and tracking of contracts and W9s and monitoring compliance to all guidelines
+ Work directly with team to print, pack and ship meeting supplies and meeting materials needed for meeting
+ Serve as onsite contact for the venue and attendees
**_Qualifications_**
+ 1+ years experience in meeting/event planning, or in any sort of customer facing role, highly preferred
+ Experience using CVENT, preferred
+ Strong Excel experience, required
+ Strong organizational skills a must
+ Strong written and verbal skills
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment

Entry-Level Patient Concierge Coordinator

The Patient Concierge Coordinator will join a team working to establish and cultivate this global service offering at Medpace. Responsibilities
* Main point of contact for the patient and clinic nurse to receive and fulfill travel and payment requests
* Work with the client and trial manager to create guidelines and parameters for each new study
* New study set-up activities: add to portal, set-up in finance, generate materials from existing templates, ensure proper regulatory filing and translations
* Onboard the clinic nurse for new sites
* Liaising with patients (or patient's primary caregiver/family member)
* Coordinate logistics and translation needs with various outside vendors
* Effectively plan for future visit needs and utilize efficiencies whenever possible
* Track spending and prepare monthly usage financial reporting
* Maintain effective and efficient communication
* May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned
* Some evening and or weekend work for patient travel emergency assistance
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* Experience in a patient-facing role preferred
* Knowledge and experience of global travel logistics, infrastructure and cost drivers
* Knowledge of the pharmaceutical clinical research industry and how participation in clinical trials affects patients, as well as clarity on the benefits of this support
* Prior experience of working within a clinical research/healthcare setting
* Spanish speaking is a bonus, however not essential
* Effective time management skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and timelines

Revenue Cycle Management focuses on a series of clinical and administrative processes that healthcare providers utilize to capture, bill, and collect patient service revenue. The revenue cycle shadows the entire patient care journey and begins with patient appointment scheduling and ends when the patient's account balance is zero.
Practice Operations Management oversees the business and administrative operations of a medical practice.
The Collections team is responsible for the collection of outstanding accounts receivable. This includes dispute research, developing payment plans with customers, and building relationships of trust with customers and internal business partners.
The Coordinator, Collections, is responsible for the timely follow-up and resolution of insurance claims. This role ensures accurate and efficient collection of outstanding balances from insurance payers, working to reduce aging accounts receivable and increase cash flow for the organization.
**_Responsibilities:_**
+ Review aging reports and work insurance accounts to ensure timely resolution and reimbursement.
+ Contact insurance companies via phone, portals, or email to check claim status, request reprocessing or escalate issues.
+ Analyze denials and underpayments to determine appropriate action (appeals, corrections, resubmissions).
+ Track and follow up on all submitted appeals until resolution.
+ Analyze explanation of benefits (EOBs) and remittance advice to determine the reason for denial or reduced payment.
+ Document all collection activities in the billing system according to departmental procedures.
+ Follow up on unpaid claims within payer-specific guidelines and timelines.
+ Coordinate with other billing team members, coders, and providers to resolve claim discrepancies.
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer policies, coding changes, and reimbursement guidelines.
+ Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all relevant federal/state billing regulations.
+ Flag trends or recurring issues for team leads or supervisors.
+ Meet daily/weekly productivity goals (e.g., number of claims worked, follow-ups completed).
