Partner with sales, engineering, and support for seamless delivery; mentor junior engineers and promote a learning culture. Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years architecting, designing, implementing, and operating cloud‑native data platforms and solutions (Solutions Architecture). 5+ years administering, configuring, and developing on Tableau Server and/or Tableau Cloud. Exceptional client‑facing communication and project management; able to present to executives and produce clear solution documentation. Cloud expertise across AWS and Azure services relevant to data platforms (e.g., S3, ADLS, Kinesis, Data Factory), and strong hands‑on with Snowflake. Enterprise data platform operations: performance tuning, capacity planning, cost optimization, observability, and incident response. Ability to provide configuration, infrastructure, and performance tuning guidance for Tableau Server (including backgrounders, VizQL, caching, extracts, and scaling). Administrative automation using PowerShell, Bash, command‑line tooling, or the Tableau REST API; familiarity with TSC/TSM automation. Expertise with Tableau Server maintenance and upgrades via Tableau Services Manager (TSM). Strong SQL mastery (advanced Microsoft SQL-writing, debugging, and optimizing). DevOps/IaC proficiency: Terraform or CloudFormation; CI/CD with Bitbucket or GitHub; versioning, testing, promotion workflows. Data integration experience with tools such as AWS DMS, Azure Data Factory, Matillion, Fivetran, or Spark. Strong problem solving with demonstrated curiosity and continuous learning mindset. Nice‑to‑Have Tooling & Patterns (Consolidated): Orchestration and ELT frameworks (e.g., dbt, Spark), streaming/messaging (e.g., Kafka), cost/usage monitoring, secrets management, policy‑as‑code. Observability for both Tableau and data platforms (logs, traces, metrics, query profiling, workload management). Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: Tableau Server Certified Associate or Tableau Certified Architect; Snowflake SnowPro Core. Experience with enterprise data governance and compliance frameworks for Tableau and cloud data platforms. Experience deploying Tableau Server on both Windows and Linux. Automation pipelines for Tableau and platform operations (preferred Python). CI/CD database deployment tooling (e.g., Flyway, Liquibase). Exposure to broader analytics tools such as Alteryx and KNIME. Core Responsibilities Own solution vision and roadmap at the engagement level for client data and AI platforms/products: align to business objectives, surface opportunities for improvement, and help clients advance their data maturity and data‑driven decision making. Be the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for your engagements-clarifying objectives, defining and tracking KPIs/success metrics, and ensuring outcomes map to client value and ROI. Translate business needs into actionable technical direction: work with architects, engineers, analysts, and change leaders to define solution scope, requirements, and a product‑based approach to data investments (platform, products, applications, services). Lead planning and execution using agile practices: coordinate cross-functional teams, timelines, and dependencies; manage risk, scope, and trade‑offs across one or more concurrent initiatives. Establish and operationalize KPIs for business, customer, product, and teams within your engagements-monitor performance, communicate status, and drive data‑informed adjustments. Ensure quality, adoption, and continuous improvement of solutions through testing, validation, stakeholder feedback, and iteration; work with change leaders and client stakeholders to support adoption of new platforms and products. Qualifications Significant experience in product management roles focused on data, analytics, or AI platforms and products. Consulting experience with external clients, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders, including business development. Strong data and AI literacy: Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms and complementary tooling. Understanding of data modeling/semantic modeling, analytics, and how AI/ML applications solve business problems. Familiarity with data and AI architecture and governance concepts. Proven ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams (technical and non‑technical) in an agile environment-directly or through influence-including analysts, engineers, architects, and change leaders. Demonstrated strength in client relationship management: Building trusted relationships with day‑to‑day and senior stakeholders. Translating complex business needs into practical technical solutions.
