The Production Support Technician (PST) provides assistance to the production team by performing various production tasks as well as maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. This function is critical to increasing production uptime and reducing downtime by assisting with live jobs in various work centers, maintaining supplies and consumables, and ensuring a sanitary and organized work environment in the plant.
Essential Functions:
Assisting with jobs at press:
Loading stock on the press unwinds. This includes the press, butt splicer, and laminate tower.
Install/Remove pre mounted plates in press.
Install/Remove dies and other tooling in press.
Assist in maintaining supply levels:
Notify warehouse when stock is needed at press and when materials need to be returned to warehouse.
Notify ink technician when inks are needed at press and to be returned to ink department.
Maintain all consumable supplies at press.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility by:
Cleaning, reassembling, and returning ink pans, aniloxes, doctor blade chambers, etc. to the presses.
Returning stock and tools to designate return areas.
Empty all trash receptacles.
Cleaning of the shop floor, printing presses, rewind machines, and any other components inside or outside Phenix as needed.
Skills and Experience Required:
Assist in select finishing related tasks as need: assisting in off line finishing process (i.e. shrink wrapping, kitting and fan folding), boxing finished product from finishers into a box.
Individual must be able to work independently with minimal guidance required. This implies good time management, planning/organization, and decision-making skills.
Individual must be able to complete any reasonable request of management necessary to effectively operate the department/company.
Individual must be able to interact effectively with supervisors and peers.
Individual must be able to perform general physical activities:
Handling and moving objects
Apply cleaning solvents
Clean or wax floors
Clean rooms or work areas
Use portable hand spray equipment
Participation and support of 5S initiatives and activities.
High school diploma / GED / or equivalent.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. Catherine Hospital is a Level II NICU with seven available beds. We have five additional beds for pediatrics. We care for babies born at 32 weeks and above. If we have a baby born at our hospital earlier than 32 weeks, we stabilize the baby and then transfer to a higher level of care NICU. We care for a wide range of medical diagnoses in the NICU including but not limited to: pneumonia, sepsis, pneumothorax, hypoglycemia, prematurity and feeders and growers. We take care of babies on ventilators, nasal cannulas, chest tubes, umbilical lines, needle aspirations, antibiotics, etc. We have four dedicated pediatricians that care for our babies in the NICU who also consult with neonatologists as needed. We receive transfers into our NICU from our surrounding towns for babies that need a NICU or higher level of care. One of the unique things about working in a rural hospital is that you get to see a wide range of different things that you may not get to see in a bigger hospital where you specialize in one area.

Role Description
The US Logistics Specialist will work with WireCo's customer care, planning, and distribution center teams, external customers, and transportation providers to coordinate and control intercompany shipments and outbound customer deliveries. This position will also assist in securing equipment domestically to ensure on-time performance in the most cost-effective manner. The ideal candidate will show initiative, possess excellent communication skills, be able to support and handle several tasks at once, work well in a team environment, and interact with multiple levels and functions within the organization. Additional duties may include: analyzing freight costs, handling freight quote requests for sales, procurement, or customer service teams, measuring KPIs and compiling carrier scorecard data.

Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate end-to-end movement of intercompany transfers, inbound and outbound orders, ensuring on-time and cost-effective delivery
Work daily within the Transportation Management System (TMS) to consolidate and schedule shipments, assign carriers, update load status, create reports, and maintain accurate data for audit and performance (KPI) tracking
Partner with shipping sites to ensure production and warehouse teams have all required shipping documentation from the ERP, TMS, and/or internal Logistics team
Maintain strong communication with carriers, freight forwarders, distribution centers, and customer service to resolve delays, routing challenges, equipment shortages, and capacity issues
Monitor carrier KPIs through scorecards capturing service, cost, transit time, claim performance, and trailer/container utilization, presenting findings and improvement opportunities to leadership
Support freight cost control by analyzing spot quotes, validating fuel surcharges and accessorials, investigating invoice discrepancies, and challenging charges that do not meet contractual terms
Assist sales, procurement, and customer service teams with accurate freight quotes, transit time estimates, routing decisions, and customer inquiries regarding shipment status
Track critical shipments and high-priority orders to ensure timely delivery, providing proactive updates to internal stakeholders and external customers.
Perform special logistics or transportation projects such as lane optimization, mode/rate benchmarking, sustainability initiatives, or network efficiency improvements
Maintain strong attention to detail and compliance with company policies, trade regulations, and carrier requirements for documentation and operational accuracy.
Learn and execute U.S. export shipments-including carrier selection, booking confirmation, container/equipment allocation, export documentation, and proactive risk mitigation

Your role and responsibilities

* Serves as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers as well as other local organizations such as authorities, banks, and suppliers to ensure their active support of field activities.

* Ensures all on-site resources are properly trained on company health, safety and environment policy and proactively promotes health and safety considerations to project partners throughout the project.

Qualifications for the role
* BS Engineering, BS Management required.
* 5+ Years Field service project experience with an electrical OEM, experience leading long term field assignments, and field quality assurance delivery focusing on procedures and implementation.
* Ability to travel 80-100% of the time within North America and ability to be away from home for extended periods.
* Strong understanding of site commissioning and oversight of engineered solutions including IEC61850 projects.
* Ability to develop and implement test, start-up, and commissioning plans with third party Cx agents.
* Experience leading start-up teams responsible for ABB and GE LV and MV electrical equipment, relays, and PRN networks preferred.
* Experience leading multidisciplinary site teams of electrical field engineers and technicians as well as third party contractors preferred.

Pulls and verifies plates needed, for production runs, 24 hours before scheduled to print.
Maintains a working relationship with our consumable vendors.
Maintains an acceptable inventory of plate room consumables.
Maintains an accurate written & computerized log of material entries.
Maintains an accurate log of bench micrometer readings & makes periodic adjustments to plate room equipment based on the readings.
Understands and follows proper safety procedures.
Maintains a well-organized filing system for orders in process and completed orders.
Coordinates and conducts regularly scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration of all plate related equipment within the department.
Maintains a neat, clean and well organized work area.
