Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Support process engineer in the sustaining and process improvement for all Mechanical dicing, Laser dicing processes. • First line of defense in resolving operational issues raised by production operators, escalates to engineering if required. • First line of defense to bring up a down tool, escalates to maintenance/engineering if needed. • Assists with non-standard Mechanical & Laser Dicing walk-in requests. • Provides dispositioning and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area. • Performs Recipe creation and Loading for all Mechanical & Laser Dicing processes. • Writes operation/engineering procedures; trains and certifies production operators and junior technicians all processes within Mechanical and Laser Dicing. • Trains & ensures operators run SPC and executes OCAP (out of control action plan) if needed. • Executes Design of Experiment (DOE) provided by Engineering and provides data summary & report to Engineering. • Performs calibration, qualification on tools. • Supports Engineering to do root cause analysis/8D on measurement/inspection escapes. • Analyzes issues and uses judgment to make decisions. • Escalates non-standard problems or issues.
