This position is eligible for a one hundred dollar bonus per quarter when working an average of 35 hours per week over the course of the entire quarter. This bonus is paid in the first pay check after the end of the quarter.

Check for proper detergent levels, rinse agent levels, and water temperatures at the beginning and through out the shift
Follow proper procedures on running items through the dish machine.
Correctly stack and store dishes, glasses, and flatware to avoid contamination from improper handling.
Maintain dish room cleanliness and a dry floor at all times.
Keep guest and employee restrooms clean and stocked.
Keep outside areas of restaurant clean including cleaning up litter, clearing walkways, removing snow, and other general maintenance duties.

This position is eligible for a one hundred dollar bonus per quarter when working an average of 35 hours per week over the course of the entire quarter. This bonus is paid in the first pay check after the end of the quarter.
Essential Functions
Properly prepare orders from the guest check following company approved portions, recipe specifications, and timing standards.
Properly store, date, and rotate according to "first in, first out" standards.
Follow proper cutting board standards to avoid cross contamination and administer allergen programs.
Work well with others and assist fellow team members as needed.

About the Role:
The Kids' Club Summer Camp Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of a safe, engaging, and educational summer camp experience for children. The manager leads a team of counselors and support staff, fostering a collaborative and positive culture while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. They serve as the primary point of contact for parents, staff, and vendors, managing communications and resolving any issues promptly. Ultimately, the manager's goal is to deliver a memorable summer camp that promotes fun, creativity, and engaging activities for all participants.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Recreation Management, Child Development, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in camp management, youth program coordination, or a similar leadership role.
Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
Strong knowledge of child safety regulations and best practices in youth programming.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement daily camp schedules and activities that are age-appropriate and engaging.
Recruit, train, and supervise camp counselors and support staff to ensure high-quality program delivery.
Manage camp registration, enrollment processes, and maintain accurate records of attendance and camper information.
Ensure all health, safety, and emergency protocols are strictly followed and that the camp environment is secure.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding camp updates, camper progress, and any concerns or incidents.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary materials and resources for camp activities.
Monitor budget and expenses to ensure the camp operates within financial guidelines.
Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback from campers, parents, and staff, and implement improvements.

Culinary Internship Program
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Culinary Internship Program. This track offers on-the-job training, mentoring relationships with regular coaching, and an opportunity to connect and build life-long relationships with culinary leaders and peers. There are a select number of spots available in this program. This internship is front-line work, mixed with learning various supervisory roles. This experience does rotate between different areas/kitchens, but you may be asked to help in other areas as business volumes vary. If you're interested in learning systems, working in multiple concepts, scratch cooking and finding out how Kalahari feeds the masses - down to an intimate dinner - this is for you! Previous cooking experience is necessary.
Culinary Art Focus
All Kalahari properties have multiple concepts, from coffee and scratch-pastry shops, sit-down restaurants, a beverage operation, to a full-service convention center. As a Culinary Intern you will gain the unforgettable experience of being part of our back-of-the-house teams in either: Double Cut Steak House, Sortino's, Cinco NiƱo's, B-Lux Bar & Grill, Cinco Nino's, waterpark eateries, banquets, baking/pastry, and the production kitchen.
Baking & Pastry Arts Focus

What We're Looking For
One or more of these criteria must apply to be eligible:
A student enrolled at the Culinary Institute of America in a Culinary or Pastry Arts Program. (Kalahari is a Certified Externship Site for CIA externs)
A student enrolled in a culinary or pastry arts program at a community college or university.
No formal schooling but has at least one year of experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant. Someone seeking hands-on work experience and gaining invaluable industry knowledge
Kalahari's Culinary Intern program is typically a minimum of 12 weeks but can be customized according to curriculum requirements.
We view this experience as a chance for you to showcase your talents and to make a positive difference. Successful interns will be strongly considered to remain with the company after graduation.
