In 2012 I was assigned as the commanding Officer of the Elite Highway Patrol Unit. In 2015 I was promoted to Inspector and assigned to the Narcotics Division where I created enforcement strategies to address the heroin epidemic in sections of Philadelphia. In March 2017 I was promoted to Chief Inspector, the highest civil service rank in the police department, where I serve as the commanding officer of the Homeland Security Bureau. In March of 2020 I was promoted to Deputy Commissioner of Patrol Operations and in June 2020 I was promoted to First Deputy Commissioner of Field Operations, which encompasses the Patrol, Investigations, Intelligence, Homeland Security and Forensic Science Bureaus.
