Mark Lashier is president and chief operating officer of Phillips 66, a diversified energy manufacturing and logistics company. A chemical engineer, he has over 30 years of experience in various executive leadership roles within the energy industry.

Lashier served as president and CEO of Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC (CPChem), a joint venture between Phillips 66 and Chevron, from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that role, he held several leadership positions at CPChem, including executive vice president of Olefins and Polyolefins; senior vice president of Specialties, Aromatics and Styrenics; vice president of Corporate Planning and Development; project director of Saudi Arabia; and regional manager of Asia.

Lashier began his career at Phillips Petroleum in 1989 as an associate research engineer in the chemicals group of Research and Development.

He serves on the boards of several industry groups and nonprofits, including American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers, the American Chemistry Council, the Society of Chemical Industry, Iowa State University’s College of Engineering Industrial Advisory Council, the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas and the American Cancer Society’s CEOs Against Cancer.

Lashier received a Bachelor of Science and a doctorate in chemical engineering from Iowa State University. He holds 13 U.S. patents.
