They will also need to submit an admissions application, with a fee and a personal essay. References are required of all applicants. One reference must come from one's minister or bishop and the other must come from a professional or academic source. Only applicants from certain denominations are accepted. These denominations are: * Disciples of Christ Church * United Methodist Church * Presbyterian Church * Episcopal Church * Evangelical Lutheran Church of America Phillips Theological Seminary offers tuition payment plans and federal financial aid. A FAFSA and proof of income are required of all financial aid applicants.
