Verify reagent'sexpiration dates. * Requires by HIPAA to protect the privacy and security of the Personal Health Information to which you have access and follow OSHAand CLIA regulations. * Assist support personnel by assisting them during the day acrossvarious departments as requested, and working overtime hours asnecessary.EKG: * Prepares room for the patient. * Prepares the patient with cape, drape sheet or other suppliesneeded to maintain modesty and dignity. * Applies electrodes, operates EKG machine according tomanufacturer's instructions to obtain proper tracings. * Identifies patient by name and DOB and register in the monitor.Labels tracing as required and consults with provider if any unusualcircumstances affect the test. * Responsible for the maintenance and storage of the equipment. * Responsible to work with the manufacturer for equipmenttroubleshooting. * Verify for proper order in Electronic Health Records (EHR) SPIROMETRY: * Run the calibration of the equipment every 24 hours or day of use. * Prepare the patient and testing following the manufactures'instruction and laboratory Policies and Procedure Manual. * Report accurate results to a licensed provider. * Responsible for the maintenance and storage of the equipment. * Responsible to work with the manufacturer for the troubleshootingof the equipment.SPECIMEN PROCESSING AND RESULTS REPORTING: * Verify for ordering test in EHR. * Blood draw patients and follow instructions for specimenprocessing. * Process specimens according the reference lab guidelines. * Tracking and review tests results in EHR every day. * Communicates with providers, clinic staff and reference lab forsmooth operation of the department.QUALIFICATIONS: * High School diploma or equivalent to the US education is required * Graduation from an accredited phlebotomy training program required * X-ray training required. * A minimum of one year experience in a hospital or clinic setting isdesired * CPR/BLS certification required * Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly desirable.Hourly - Hourly Plan, 0.00 USD Hourly What We Offer: Sea Mar offers talented and motivated people the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing community health organization.
