RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide patients with the highest level of care. Uphold the highest level of ethical behavior. Procure blood and other laboratory specimens from patients utilizing standard venipuncture (and other appropriate) procedures. Process specimens (centrifuge, pipette, and freeze when required). Transport specimens to local lab or PSC for processing. Our phlebotomists work Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays. They work an 8-hour day shift that typically starts at 7 am and ends at 3 pm.
REQUIREMENTS: Valid NCPT Phlebotomy certificate by NCCT, NHA or a current certification by an accepted certifying agency for phlebotomy. This job requires employees to demonstrate initial and annual competencies in order to remain in the position. In addition, candidate should have:
Experience using a smartphone, computer, and office printer
Reliable, efficient transportation with valid driver license and proof of current liability insurance
Minimum two (2) years of experience.
Mobile Phlebotomy experience a plus.
COMPENSATION: $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS Compensation changes, and is based on the number of accurately completed draws or specimen collection.
