Job Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in patient care by expertly performing venipunctures and other specimen collections, ensuring the quality and accuracy of samples, and supporting the smooth operation of our laboratory. Explain procedures to patients courteously, assisting with specimen collections (blood, urine, fecal). Maintain a clean and safe work environment by performing decontamination and recording maintenance. Follow all OSHA and DEP safety regulations and protocols. Update and manage patient information with attention to detail. Assist with troubleshooting, training, and recommending improvements to workflow. Answer patient inquiries over the phone and provide laboratory results as needed. Attend required department trainings to stay up-to-date with best practices.
