About the role:

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
How you will contribute:
· You will answer phones, and greet and focus on our donors, while ensuring the safety of donors and our team.
· You will screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
· You will use our Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
· You will help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company approved procedures.
· You will be there for our donors, which includes working a variety of shifts, Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays.
What you bring to Takeda:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
· Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees

As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for obtaining quality blood samples using a variety of phlebotomy methods for all age groups. Methods may include venous, capillary, arterial, and line collections. Not all locations use all methods. You will provide rapid response to medical emergencies such as traumas and codes.

The Phlebotomist II draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. The Phlebotomist II has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner. Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.

Perform verification of patient demographic info/initials, including patient signature post-venipuncture, to verify tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
How you will contribute:
* You will answer phones, and greet and focus on our donors, while ensuring the safety of donors and our team.
* You will screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
* You will use our Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
* You will help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company approved procedures.
