    Job Title: PhlebotomistJob Description We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team, exhibiting proficiency in blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups. Responsibilities + Perform blood collection using venipuncture and capillary techniques. + Work with pediatric patients, ensuring comfort and safety during procedures. + Conduct difficult blood draws in medical office buildings. + Communicate and enforce compliance and safety standards. + Provide orientation and training to patient service technicians. Essential Skills + Proficiency in phlebotomy and venipuncture. + Experience with neonatal and pediatric blood draws. + At least six months to one year of experience in acute or sub-acute settings. + Ability to draw 45-55 patients within an 8-hour shift in outpatient settings. + Ability to draw 20-30 patients within an 8-hour shift in inpatient settings. + Excellent attendance and behavior record. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma. + CPT 1 License. + Experience with a lab system, such as Cerner. + Strong customer service skills. + Experience in hospital settings is a plus. + Able to travel to various Medical Office Building labs throughout South OC. Work Environment This is a high-volume role primarily working in Medical Office Buildings (clinics). Once permanent, you will work in the main lab in a hospital setting. The work locations include various draw stations in locations such as Aliso Viejo, Irvine, Foothill Ranch, Huntington Beach, Santa Ana, and others. Flexibility in shifts and hours is required, and the ability to travel to different locations is essential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
