The US Logistics Specialist will work with WireCo's customer care, planning, and distribution center teams, external customers, and transportation providers to coordinate and control intercompany shipments and outbound customer deliveries. PTMW, Inc., a leader in the rail and communication industries, is seeking a skilled and motivated Pre-Fabrication (PFAB) Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our production equipment operates efficiently to support our commitment to quality and on-time delivery. This position is a 12-hour shift with work hours 6:00am-6:00pm Sunday-Tuesday rotating every other Wednesday.
Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the fabrication equipment. Equipment includes Press Brakes, Punch/Shear machines, CO2 Laser/Punch machine, Roll Form machine, CNC Router, Robotic loading and material handling of various workshop equipment. Brands include Prima Power, Schroeder, Bradbury and Bystronic.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop a thorough understanding of equipment operations to effectively diagnose machine failures.
Perform scheduled maintenance tasks promptly to minimize production downtime.
Update and maintain the Preventative Maintenance database.
Install and replace punches and dies for machinery.
Operate a surface grinder for sharpening punches and dies.
Conduct building maintenance as needed.

Valid driver's license
A detail-oriented, “ownership” attitude toward work.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work additional hours (overtime) to meet demand as needed
Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs
Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical capacity test, and breath alcohol.
Preferred:
Either a vocational/technical degree in industrial maintenance or 1+ year of industrial maintenance in a manufacturing plant
Experience with turret punch presses, press brakes, or roll form sheet metal processing machines is a plus.
Knowledge of CNC controls and experience diagnosing and repairing PLC-controlled electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Familiarity with frequency drives.
Proficiency in computer programs such as Excel and Access is helpful.
