2002

Since 2002, Phoseon has pioneered the use of LEDs for UV industrial curing and life sciences applications with a 100% focus on UV LED technology.

Phoseon was founded by Mark Owen, Francois Vlach, and Christopher O'Leary in 2002 with a single product.

2003

Phoseon had grown to 20 employees by October 2003 and expanded to offices in Asia and Europe.

2005

The company raised US$6.4 million in capital in March 2005 by selling preferred stock to a group of investors that included SmartForest Ventures and PacRim Venture Partners.

2007

Co-founder Mark Owen left the company in 2007.
