    The Marketing and Communications Student Photographer will assist the MarComm department in capturing refreshed photography for recruitment and enrollment materials. The student photographer will help to plan, set up, capture, and edit photography on-site at events both on and off campus. Under the guidance of the AVP of Strategic Marketing and Communications and the Director of Creative Services, this individual will serve as a key resource to the campus community on a wide variety of design and visual art elements for print and other marketing materials. They will regularly provide images for the university's website, social media, flyers, brochures, advertisements, and more while maintaining a consistent visual identity. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in progress in photography, fine arts, videography, communications, journalism or related field, with expertise in still photography, commercial photography, photojournalism, studio photography, videography and/or digital editing a plus. Experience with digital assets management systems and techniques; working knowledge of formatting images and videos for the web and social media. Strong proficiency in the use of industry standard image and editing software is required, including Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required. Must be a current University of La Verne student Preferred Qualifications Creative thinker; ability to adapt in dynamic environment; strong customer service-oriented skills; action-oriented; detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills; positive collegial attitude; high level of professionalism; and ability to work collaboratively in a close team environment.
