Overview As a Clinical Research Photographer, you'll be responsible for daily patient care and clinical flow. You will be responsible for accurately photographing fluorescein angiograms, ICG, fundus photos and OCT's. Responsibilities Promptly and professionally assisting the doctor in patient care. Performing technical workups, patient interviews and special testing. Communicating with patients regarding follow-up care, surgeries, procedures, changes in schedule, symptoms, surgery scheduling, etc. Maintaining and cleaning all equipment being used. Report to manager if not in working condition. Attending required meetings. Efficiently and accurately interviews patients prior to photography testing to ensure awareness of any health or allergy restrictions. Demonstrates working knowledge of eye anatomy, disease, symptoms and ocular meds. Has a working understanding and accurately preforms the following B-Scans, fundus photos, fluorescein angiography, ICG, FAF and OCT's. Utilizes proper eye drop technique and sterility. Utilizes proper universal precaution procedures. Understands and follows procedures for procedural consents. Displays consistent professionalism. Is energetic and empathetic with patients. Consistently display positive rapport with fellow employees. Cooperates with supervisory staff and physicians. Demonstrates flexibility in job assignment. What is the pathology to be photographed? Determine Study Eye Maintain research photography protocol binders and resources. Photograph subjects as per the study protocol. Upload all research photos as per the study protocol and answer any queries that may arise. Complete GCP certification prior to working on any research protocols. This is an on-site in-hospital role where you will earn commission sales, estimating $350 - $600 a week (working 2-3 days a week), our photographers earn $15/hr (part time hours usually 15-25 hours a week) plus additional tips, commission and bonuses based on performance and seniority. Duties & Responsibilities of Newborn Photographers * Photograph newborn babies and their families, capturing lifelong memories. * Create a welcoming and positive customer experience. * Meet photography sales goals. * Provide warm, professional, and patient interaction. * Collaborate effectively with team members. * Comfortably and safely handle newborns. * Maintain a passion for photography and excellent customer service. Experience and Requirements for the Newborn Photographer * Beginner to mid-level photography skills with basic computer knowledge. * Preferred experience in sales and customer service with strong verbal communication. * Ability to work independently in a hospital environment, perform moderate physical activity, and lift up to 50 pounds. * Reliable transportation; work weekends and holidays. * Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED. * Pass background checks and health screenings; current vaccinations required (including COVID-19). * Candidates must pass a 12-panel drug test, including THC.
