Reed Portrait Group is looking for a seasonal, part time school photographer in the Northland area. Some experience welcome, but we train our own photographers. We are looking for a detail oriented, energetic person who arrives on time in a good mood without fail. This applicant will need to work well in a team and must work well with children. You'll travel to dance competitions and recitals, work in fast-paced lighting environments, and deliver professional images that highlight each dancer's best moments. What You'll Do Photograph live dance performances in low-light and stage lighting conditions Adjust exposure, ISO, and white balance on the fly for optimal results Manage and back up images using DanceBUG's software tools Upload or ship event media as required Communicate with on-site team and managers Travel nationwide by car or plane to assigned events. Photos need to be edited, and uploaded daily to camps' photo gallery. Key Responsibilities: • Take photos and video at assigned locations and activities throughout the week which may include camper check -in, classes, and evening activity • Edit photos, upload to storage folder, and label with camper name or image subject • Assist campers in handling animals to ensure well composed photographs and safe interaction with animals • Provide emotional and behavioral support to campers as needed by following behavior management techniques as outlined in the staff manual and during training • Ensure the safety of all campers when participating in camp activities Required Experience and Skills: • Completed High School.
