This will be a hands-on role focusing on photo retouching and website / catalog photo content for both web and print. You should have a strong foundation in photography, a passion for clean, accurate product imagery, and the ability to handle high-volume Photoshop work. The Ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a strong eye for detail, lighting, composition, and post-production perfection, and has the ability to work in both a technical and creative capacity. Responsibilities: Execute high-volume Photoshop work to support the technical needs of the digital product catalogs. Photograph clean, accurate, well-lit product imagery, in a controlled studio setting Ensure accuracy in color, scale, and angle for all products shot Demonstrate experience with SLR Digital Product Photography and lighting. Manage daily shoot schedules and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment Organize, back up, and archive large batches of image files using proper workflow and storage practices Demonstrate the ability to change gears quickly as needed. May perform other duties and participate in other projects as required by the department. Park Productions photographers may be hired to do photography work for internal IC clients, such as coverage for campus events or faculty headshots, as well as work for external clients, such a covering events for local organizations. This work is project-based, so there is no guarantee of a certain number of hours per semester. Assignments will be made based on photographers' experience, portfolio, and availability as projects arise. Only students who are able to demonstrate a quality portfolio of photography work will be considered for these roles.
