At Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), southwest of Salt Lake City Utah, SA-TECH supports the West Desert Test Center (WDTC), the nation's designated Major Range Test Facility Base (MRTFB) for chemical and biological defense. The WDTC plans, conducts, evaluates, reports, and supports Chemical and Biological (CB) and non-CB testing efforts for the Department of Defense (DoD), other federal agencies, private industries, and foreign Governments (e.g., environmental assessment/impact evaluations, weapons and munitions demilitarization, chemical energetics/homemade explosive testing, unmanned systems testing, direct and indirect fire weapons testing, hazard assessments, and technical/logistical support of operations at DPG).
At DPG, SA-TECH is looking to hire a Photographer onto our team to support program efforts and contribute to success at this major DoD Test Facility.
Specific duties include (but are not limited to):
Use high-speed camera systems, tracking telescope systems, and video systems.
Utilize math and experience in operating tracking telescopes, video systems, and fixed cameras to obtain data measurements and perform optical data reduction.
Use digital processing (motion/still), printing, still photography, videography and digital imaging techniques.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Conditions:
Work is performed in an indoor industrial setting but field work outdoors under changing weather conditions may be required depending on the location of equipment.
May be required to lift and handle heavy items (50 lbs.).
May need to move equipment, scaffolding, and other items for photo shoots.
Stand/walk, climb, stoop, bend and push and pull for extended periods of time.
Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks that require such protective gear.

High School diploma or equivalent.
Must have formal training on high-speed camera systems, tracking telescope systems, and video systems.
Possess a good working knowledge of math to operate tracking telescopes, video systems, fixed cameras to obtain data measurements and perform optical data reduction.
Must have experience in digital processing (motion/still), printing, still photography, videography and digital imaging techniques.
A commitment to maintaining a productive and collaborative working environment.
Current Driver's License required; must be able to be insured through company's vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
U.S. Citizenship required and you must have a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance
prior to hire
date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical, as well as periodic retests.

Job Overview
We are seeking a photographer who is both a skilled photographer and an effective team player. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in commercial photography including product and lifestyle, in-studio and on-location. This role involves collaborating with a team of photo and video professionals and reports to the Associate Creative Director, Photo & Video. Key responsibilities include:
* Creating images to support promotions, product launches, PDPs, social posts, corporate photo needs and more.

Key Responsibilities
* Concept Development: Make recommendations to Associate Creative Director, Photo & Video regarding ideas and photo aesthetics.
* Brand Consistency: Shoot consistently in established styles for ZAGG's various brands.
* Project Management: Work with project managers and stakeholders to ensure images meet delivery deadlines.
* Equipment Management: Maintain all equipment in good repair and make recommendations for purchases that would be a net benefit to the business.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work actively with internal stakeholders from product teams, digital marketing, and channel vendors to understand their vision and translate it into visual solutions.
* Quality Control: Ensure all images are polished, cohesive across platforms, and worthy of our brand.
* Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into the creative process where relevant.
* Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and refine visual processes with the Associate Creative Director, Photo & Video to improve how we work together.
Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience as an in-house commercial photographer, or a similar role, with a preference for online retail and channel-driven businesses.
* Expert in photo shoot production and execution
* An ability to articulate, inform, and validate ideas with stakeholders and channel partners (e.g., prototypes, wireframes, sketches, journey maps, personas).
* Strong understanding of composition, visual storytelling, and brand identity.
* Excellent communication and project management skills.
* Proficiency in photo software, such as Photoshop, Lightroom, and the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite.
* A degree in photography, fine arts, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
* A strong portfolio that shows good taste and innovative and visually compelling creative work.
