The photojournalist will be responsible for covering news, politics, entertainment and sports in DC and also reinforce coverage of national and international events. The photojournalist will be expected to provide video on selected stories and have experience in video. They will work closely with reporters and video journalists to create agenda-setting stories in the region and across the country. They must work well in a team but also be a proven self starter. An ability to work in a fast paced newsroom and across departments is critical. The successful applicant will produce top quality news photography in DC and across the US, working in close collaboration with Reuters photo editors and staff photographers as well as editors on the Global Pictures Desk to contribute highly competitive pictures to the Reuters News Pictures file for US and global subscribers.
