Job Description:
This position involves assembling modules by hand soldering surface mount electronic components and Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices onto printed circuit boards (PCBs), following MIL-STD 883, J-STD, and internal Microchip processes. Job Description:
The Planner's primary responsibility is to review sales order demand across multiple products and collaborate with Production, Sales Support, Quality Assurance, Logistics, Component Operations, and Engineering to establish achievable schedule dates. They are responsible for driving execution to meet those dates and communicating any risks, changes, or delays as they arise.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Scheduling Sales Orders based upon customer requested ship dates as well as factory and supplier constraints
* Creating and monitoring Production Orders to drive the factory
* Working closely with purchasing to drive work at contract manufacturers
* Coordinating production workflow for multiple products
* Working closely with Inventory Control personnel to research inventory errors and ensure that material transactions are done accurately
* Monitoring part structures (BoMs and Routes) for errors and initiating corrections
* Monitoring and finessing item planning attributes such as minimum inventory levels
* Determining raw materials needed to cover production demand
* Escalating issues that threaten adherence to schedule dates
* Providing detailed delivery status to Global Sales Support personnel
* Summarizing and reporting adherence to committed dates
* Creating company business data and report to the upper management
Requirements/Qualifications:
The successful candidate will:
* Be a self-starter who is willing to ask questions and learn from experts
* Be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Possess a sense of ownership of their product lines
* Drive towards meeting deadlines and achieving customer satisfaction
* Work independently
* Have experience with the Microsoft suite of Office tools, particularly Excel

Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Global IT Infrastructure Engineering & Architecture leads the strategic design, standardization, and delivery of Photronics' global IT infrastructure. This role ensures that all infrastructure solutions are architecturally sound, secure by design, and operationally ready before entering production. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Infrastructure, this leader will define global technical roadmaps, establish architectural standards, and formalize the Operational Acceptance process for all enterprise infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and enforce global infrastructure architecture standards across network, cloud, data center, compute, and storage platforms.
• Lead enterprise identity architecture, including Microsoft Active Directory design, trust configuration, and domain consolidation to support a unified enterprise identity plane.
• Build and maintain multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy, security requirements, and cost optimization goals.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and vendors that meet scalability, stability, and security standards.
• Integrate security-by-design principles into all architectural patterns in partnership with Information Security and aligned with NIST, CMMC, and ISO 27001.
• Lead the global Infrastructure Engineering team in the design, build, and deployment of enterprise-wide infrastructure solutions.

Job Description:
We are looking for a Test Engineer II to design, program, validate, and document automated test processes for new Voltage Controlled SAW Oscillator (VCSO) and frequency synthesizer products, as well as support test processes for existing SAW product lines.
Our products in Simsbury include industry leading RF products such as:
* Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) components and modules.
* SAW dispersive delay line modules for RADAR pulse compression.
* Voltage Controlled SAW Oscillators (VCSO) with exceptionally low phase noise performance.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with product line manager, other engineers, and product specification to generate test plan.
* Generate acceptance and qualification test procedures, data sheets, and process travelers based on test plan.
* Design, program, debug and validate automated test processes for production use.
* Perform qualification, design verification, and/or other validation testing as required.
* Design, validate, and document any necessary fixturing. This may involve PCB design.
* Compile and analyze test data as needed.
* Assist design engineer with development activities as required.
* Perform root cause / corrective action analysis on WIP or field failures as necessary.
* Work with other engineers to generate and validate all tools required by manufacturing to realize the product. These include drawings, process travelers, bills of materials, schematics, test procedures, acceptance test limits, process specifications, production aids, etc.
* Work on other projects or responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Required
* A minimum of a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
* Minimum of 2 years engineering experience.
* Strong failure analysis techniques and efficient problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Experience programming in Python, C#, and C.
* Familiarity with characterization data collection/crunching and statistical capability analysis using common tools such as Microsoft Excel or Minitab.

Job Description:
We are looking for a Principal Product Engineer to develop low noise Voltage Controlled SAW Oscillator (VCSO) products as well as support existing Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) product lines.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with product line manager, other sales and marketing personnel and the customer to define product requirements and project scope.
* Generate and execute a plan to meet the defined requirements and scope. The plan will be comprehensive and cover all project aspects from conception / receipt of order to product release and production support.
* Contribute to product architecture and design by performing mechanical and electrical design tasks to realize product requirements. This typically involves RF & DC circuit design and simulation, PCB design, EM simulation, and stress analysis. Mechanical / thermal FEA analysis may be required. Monte-Carlo or other statistical analysis may be required.
* Collaborate with other engineers, technicians and manufacturing personnel to execute prototyping, product development and sustaining-engineering activities. Significant hands-on contributions are expected.
* Work with procurement, manufacturing process engineers and test engineers to ensure design is realizable and to maximize yield in production. This occurs both before and after product release and statistical analysis is typically required.
* Compile and present design review data packages to both internal and external customers.
* Work with other engineers to generate and validate all tools required by manufacturing to realize the product. These include drawings, travelers, bills of materials, schematics, test procedures, acceptance test limits, process specifications, production aids, etc.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll manage recruiting across the full spectrum of our business from corporate and engineering to manufacturing and operations. You'll work as a trusted partner to hiring managers and HR teams, helping shape TA strategy and ensuring every candidate has a seamless experience. Most importantly, you'll be bringing in the people who will define Photronics' next chapter.
What you'll do:
Manage recruiting for salaried and hourly roles across U.S. sites, building diverse pipelines of top talent.
Partner with hiring managers and HRBPs to craft sourcing strategies that anticipate workforce needs.
Support occasional international hiring (UK/EU) while sharing best practices with global colleagues.
Own and deliver a consistently positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Monitor and analyze recruiting metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
Contribute to employer branding, campus partnerships, early-career programs, and employee referrals.
Represent Photronics at job fairs, universities, and community events as a brand ambassador.
Jump in on special projects or new initiatives that advance our TA strategy.

Qualifications & Experience:
3+ years of recruiting experience (agency + in-house mix preferred).
Proven ability to manage requisitions across multiple functions and levels.
Knowledge of U.S. labor laws and compliance requirements.
Experience recruiting for both salaried and hourly positions in corporate, engineering, or manufacturing.
Strong relationship-building, organizational, and communication skills.
Agility to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Travel: About 5-10% - Occasional site visits, campus recruiting events, and community events.

About Microchip's Discrete Products Group (DPG)
Microchip's DPG offers one of the industry's most comprehensive portfolios of power and RF/microwave discrete semiconductor products. The group comprises two business units:
* Power Discrete & Modules (PDM).
* RF/Microwave Discretes.
These units serve a wide range of markets, including alternative energy, industrial, medical, defense, commercial aviation, communications, embedded systems, motor control, sensors, security, and power solutions.
Our Simsbury facility develops industry-leading RF products such as:
* Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) components and modules.
* SAW dispersive delay line modules for RADAR pulse compression.
* Voltage-Controlled SAW Oscillators (VCSOs) with ultra-low phase noise performance.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Production Test Technician to test, tune, and troubleshoot prototype and production SAW components and modules. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can support shipping goals, on-time delivery, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate computer-controlled RF vector network analyzers for product testing and analysis.
* Perform product testing and analysis using appropriate RF test equipment.
* Collect test data, prepare reports, and communicate results to engineering and manufacturing teams.
* Follow safety protocols, including proper handling procedures for sensitive samples.
* Ensure test equipment is calibrated and maintained.
* Participate in quality control activities, including report reviews and data collection.
* Document inspection findings using the Work Order Event Database.
* Identify and report discrepancies or equipment issues to management.
* Adhere to company procedures related to product testing and analysis.
* Implement process improvements to optimize cycle times.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Required Qualifications

* 5+ years of RF-related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Strong troubleshooting skills for electronic equipment.

* Ability to solder and pass J-STD-001 solder certification training.
