This position will serve as a support function to our customers in troubleshooting and education of their vehicle technology. This person will also serve as an in-house expert to our sales staff as the manufacturer roles out new features. It will involve working with customers on our service customers, car buyers as well as being available for questions at our product training events. You will be asked to fully understand and teach basic functionality of vehicle features as well as effectively communicate to the most loyal repeat customers as well as our first-time buyers. The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling service work in the service department and for selling additional needed services to customers. Service Advisor Duties and Responsibilities: Schedules service appointments. Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible. Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner. Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts. Establishes "promised time". Checks on the progress of repair throughout the day.
