Our Client is seeking a PHP Developer to join our team in Lanham, MD.
Responsibilities:
The PHP Developer will be an integral part of the Information Technology Team. The candidate will work directly for the Chief Information Officer. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with the ability to understand and continue the development of existing programs written in PHP, and Angular 2 in a Model, View, and Controller (MVC) Architecture. The candidate will be also expected to troubleshoot and document their work. This position is full-time temp to perm.
Requirements:
- PHP developer with 5+ years’ experience
- Familiar with upgrading PHP 5 code to PHP 7
- Experience with Javascript, Angular and MVC Architecture
- Good understanding of MySQL
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
- Clear Background Check
Preferable:
- Familiarity with Unix based operating systems e.g. Linux along with command line tools available
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities and finish tasks on time
- Degree in Computer Science or related relevant field
