Candidates must be BC/BE in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and preferably have at least 2 years of experience. Clinical responsibilities include PM&R consultation, inpatient and outpatient services at our acute care hospital. Approximately 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient. Traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, amputations, orthopedic injuries and surgeries, sports related injuries, work-related injuries, cardiopulmonary conditions and neurological disorders. See approximately 15 patients/day. Candidate will display leadership characteristics and the ability to move into a director role as the position progresses. The ability to share in the inpatient call coverage, one in every four weekends is required.

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona, is seeking a Physiatrist to join our practice.
Candidates must be board-eligible or board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. This position will support the clinical care of patients primarily in the outpatient setting with the opportunity for inpatient consultations, if desired, as well as teaching and research. The department is seeking an individual with a demonstrated interest in cancer rehabilitation. Fellowship training in cancer rehabilitation is preferred.
The department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation consists of nine board certified Physiatrists. We have a busy outpatient practice with a wide breadth of subspecialties. In line with Arizona Bold Forward, the Physiatry practice is expanding to meet the growing needs and demands of our patient population. We have subspecialty development in Sports Medicine, Regenerative Medicine, Spine Rehabilitation, Cancer Rehabilitation and look to grow Neurosciences. Our experienced physical and occupational therapy practice offers specialized certification in the following: Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Geriatric, Neurology, Lymphedema and Hand Therapy.
There are several practice locations including: the main Scottsdale Clinic, three clinics at the Phoenix hospital campus and Sports Medicine in Tempe. In 2023, there will be an expansion on the Phoenix Campus offering an additional multi-disciplinary clinic.
