To maintain the health and safety of children. To provide active supervision of students at all times. The General Education Preschool Teacher will establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment and encourage the involvement of families of children in the program and support the development of relationships between children and their families. They will collaborate with other professionals including intervention specialist to help meet the learning objectives of all students in their classroom. QUALIFICATIONS: * Hold a baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education and an ODE license or ability/willingness to obtain. * Supervised classroom experience with preschool children preferred. * Knowledgeable of Early Childhood curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices. * Classroom management/supervision skills. * Willingness/ability to work as a team member. * Good organizational skills. * History of good job attendance. * Must pass criminal background check and be free from communicable diseases. Valid state teaching license or the ability to obtain one. Prior teaching experience in a school setting preferred. Ability to create a positive and engaging classroom environment that supports diverse learners. Practicing Catholic preferred.
