Job DescriptionFYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is seeking a full-time Physician Liaison to join our team at our Westlake, OH, location! The Physician Liaison works closely with our clinical team and is a brand ambassador to the community who will call upon local physicians to build a relationship and prospect referral leads to grow the patient referral base. This position is essentially a combination of sales and public relations through strategically promoting the clinics' services and treatments while strengthening our reputation in the community. The FYZICIAN Liaison is responsible for overseeing designated territory of physicians and medical clinics.
The Physician Liaison is critical for the success of a clinic. The Liaison not only strives to increase patient referrals, and to strengthen relationships with providers and their staff, but as a community facing representative provides prospective patients and the community with a first impression of our brand. The Physician Liaison works to cultivate positive, open and helpful relationships among community practices, medical staff and providers alike while managing feedback and strengthening our reputation. The Liaison is essentially the bridge between our clinic and the referring offices and our broader community.Responsibilities
Leads initiatives to build volume and favorable provider perceptions among internal and external referral streams.
Develops and implements specific outreach, relationship building and marketing plans to meet goals.
Must exhibit excellent time management skills, organization and communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Analyzing referral data, checking DMR daily, facilitating marketing campaigns.
Ability to use certain templates and programs for tracking and leads management.
Develops strong business relationships with local community organizations and businesses.
Works collaboratively with other system functions that interact with physician offices, including hospital medical affairs, outbound referral systems, provider recruitment, and provider resources.
Establishes and maintains ongoing communications with referring providers and/or their office staff, including routine or follow-up visits, emails and phone calls.
Uses research-based methods and implements strategies to build awareness and trust.
Identifies referral sources (target audiences).
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communications, Business Administration or Healthcare preferred.
Recent and direct experience working in a communications position within a sales or marketing environment may be substituted in lieu of education and/or experience requirements.
A Valid Driver's License as daily driving is a job requirement.
Willing to travel within an assigned territory.
Must provide own vehicle, however mileage reimbursement will be covered.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

The Department of Animal and Pre-Veterinary Studies at the University of Findlay invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position as an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in Teaching in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. The Department of Animal and Pre-Veterinary Studies boasts close to 600 undergraduate students, and provides three emphases: Industry, Science, and Pre-Vet.
The successful candidate will hold expertise in Food Animal Medicine and will be responsible for providing clinical support to the animals housed in the Dr. C. Richard Beckett Animal Science Center as the veterinarian of record. Additionally, they will teach courses and/or labs relevant to their training and experience to support the Animal Science program. Applicants must have excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrate ability to utilize digital technologies for course design and delivery. Applicants should have a strong desire and passion for advising and mentorship and will be responsible for academic advising within the program and serve as a coordinator and mentor for our newly established Early Veterinary Mentoring Program, for eligible Pre-Veterinary students.
Minimum qualifications include a graduate of an AVMA accredited program or completed the ECFVG or PAVE program, successful completion & passing score on the NAVLE, current Ohio Veterinary License, current Ohio Board of Pharmacy License, current D.E.A. License, obtain & maintain USDA APHIS Category II Accreditation Status, food animal clinical experience, and the ability to lift 40+ lbs. Preferred qualifications include evidence of instructional or teaching experience in Higher Education.
Clinical roles include but not limited to hold D.E.A. controlled substance registration and manage Pharmacy and associated ordering, provide examinations, testing, and interpret lab results to support accurate diagnoses, treatment of sick animals, write Health Certificates, create, maintain, update comprehensive preventative health and vaccine protocols, provide routine treatment and care for animal health (i.e. Brucellosis vaccinating and testing, Johne's/CL/CAEV testing, Trich testing, etc.), collaborate with animal science faculty and barn managers to develop and maintain written health records, BMPs, and other protocols (i.e. IACUC), develop and implement clinical experiences that facilitate opportunities for students to gain practical clinical experience beyond the classroom setting, and occasional after hours or weekend calls may be requested, however, no routine on-call schedule will be required and potential for emergency or after-hours referrals availability.
