What you will do:
• Provide PM&R Consults for patients with complex rehabilitation needs, or might be candidates for the inpatient rehab program.
• Participate in one week of inpatient rehabilitation call coverage every sixth week at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA.
• Follow 8-12 patients per day providing input on spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, multiple trauma, neurogenic bowel/bladder, skin integrity, amputation, and other complex medical rehab cases.
• Collaborate with inpatient Rehabilitation Psychology, inpatient Neuropsychology, inpatient adaptive driving program, dedicated outpatient Rehabilitation Nursing Clinic and community outreach programs for TBI, stroke, and SCI populations.
What you will need:
• Preference for candidates with aptitude in neuro-rehabilitative consultation management
• Board certified/eligible in Physical Medicine, and Rehabilitation by the time of employment
• Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group (NMRMG) is seeking a BE/BC, Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician to join our team at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, IL, located in Chicago's Western suburbs.

The Pediatric Rehabilitation Program at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Northwestern Medicine, provides inpatient and outpatient care to children from birth to 18 years old with physical, cognitive and learning challenges due to illness, injury or congenital causes.

Zentech Consulting is look for a PMR to join our clients team at a brand new facility in Chicago. The practice specializes in providing state-of-the- art, minimally invasive treatment of complex neck and spine problems, as well as sports related injuries and conditions.

The PMR position is responsible for diagnosing and treat disorder requiring physiotherapy to provide physical, mental, and occupational rehabilitation.
Document examination results, treatment plans, and patients’ outcomes.
Record patient medical histories.
Examine patients to assess mobility, strength, communication, or cognition.
Examine patients to assess general physical condition.
Assess characteristics of patients’ pain such as intensity, location, and duration using standardized clinical measures.
Provide inpatient or outpatient medical management of neuromuscular disorders, musculoskeletal trauma, acute and chronic pain, deformity or amputation, cardiac or pulmonary disease, or other disabling conditions.
Treat chronic diseases or disorders.
Monitor effectiveness of pain management interventions such as medication and spinal injections.
Develop comprehensive plans for immediate and long-term rehabilitation including therapeutic exercise; speech and occupational therapy; counseling; cognitive retraining; patient, family or caregiver education; or community reintegration.
Coordinate physical medicine and rehabilitation services with other medical activities.
Perform electrodiagnosis including electromyography, nerve conduction studies, or somatosensory evoked potentials of neuromuscular disorders or damage.
Prescribe therapy services, such as electrotherapy, ultrasonography, heat or cold therapy, hydrotherapy, debridement, short-wave or microwave diathermy, and infrared or ultraviolet radiation, to enhance rehabilitation.
Diagnose or treat performance-related conditions such as sports injuries or repetitive motion injuries.
Diagnose medical conditions.
Treat acute illnesses, infections, or injuries.
Conduct physical tests such as functional capacity evaluations to determine injured workers’ capabilities to perform the physical demands of their jobs.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Extensive skill, knowledge, and experience.
5 years of PMR experience
5-7 Years of Specialized Medical Training

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
