As a PRN Massage Therapist, you would play a vital role in providing individualized music interventions that support emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being for patients and their families. Through your talent, compassion, and collaborative approach, you'll create moments of peace, presence, and comfort for those navigating hospice care. Job Responsibilities:
Provide consistent, professional massage and body treatments in accordance with Hospice protocols and accepted certification practices
Handle patient questions and concerns professionally and courteously
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
Thoroughly chart all visits through Homecare Homebase
Communicate schedules with patient's families
Create a consistent schedule of visits for each patient
Communicates with the rest of the care team on each patient's condition
Hospice Massage Therapist Requirements :
Independent Massage License required
A minimum of 3 years of therapeutic massage required
Ability to provide proof of Professional Liability Insurance
College Degree Preferred
MBLEX Completion Preferred

Proficiency with computers
Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.

Selects, implements, and makes modifications to therapeutic activities and interventions that are consistent with demonstrated competency levels, patient's/resident's/client's goals, and the requirements of the practice setting and/or state licensure. The certified occupational therapy assistant contributes to this process by exchanging information with and providing documentation to the occupational therapist about the patient's/resident's/client's responses to and communications during intervention. Responsible for being knowledgeable about the patient's/resident's/client's targeted occupational therapy outcomes and for providing information and documentation related to outcome achievement. Follows and adheres to accepted clinical practice guidelines of professional organization. As needed, performs other related duties as requested. Depending on location and facility needs, work may focus on those receiving intervention in the post-acute, long term care, and home health care environments.
Qualifications
Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
