What You'll Do:
Deliver physical therapy services as outlined in the plan of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Carry out treatment protocols that support mobility, strength, balance, and functional recovery.

As well, the Occupational Therapy Assistant must document and record the patient's condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy methods. The OTA works under the supervision of the OT, collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including OTs, PTs, SLPs, and teachers.
