What you will do:
The PTA provides physical therapy treatment services to children age 0-21 years as prescribed by a physician. This role will also be responsible for the following under the supervision of a Physical Therapist:
Provide therapy services to children based on the recommended number of units from evaluations and prescriptions
Provide therapy services in a variety of settings including home, daycare, schools, outpatient clinic, community, etc
Schedule children onto caseload by contacting the parent/guardian
Provide documentation of all therapy services by locking and electronically signing weekly progress notes
Update and turns in efficiency reports weekly
Update schedule on the server
Complete additional paperwork requirements in an accurate and timely manner as notified by administration

Qualifications and requirements:
* Candidates are required to maintain certification from both the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
* Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program culminating in an Associate's degree
* Current and valid state OTA license or certificate of practice or equivalent in the states where services are rendered CPR certification (when required)
* Must have 1-2 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy, specifically working with adult populations.
