The primary purpose of the PPA is to perform necessary actions to assure smooth mechanical operations of all facility equipment. To assist in preventative maintenance of facility equipment as appropriate. Specific Duties and Responsibilities⢠Supports and takes direction from the PPM to ensure there is a sound preventative maintenance program and performs preventative maintenance duties as assigned.⢠Maintains safe operating and fire prevention practices and reports and issues to the PPM.⢠Helps the PPM in identifying and repairing any mechanical breakdowns and failure of machinery and equipment as deemed appropriate. ⢠Repairs emergency breakdowns in the shortest possible time and reports issues to PPM.⢠Advises the PPM of any areas of concern relative to wear and tear of building, needs for cleaning, and deodorizing of furniture, carpeting, etc.⢠Tests fire alarm and emergency systems as directed by the PPM and in accordance with established policies and procedures. ⢠Helps PPM maintain the heating and cooling systems in proper working condition, ⢠Maintains repair logs. ⢠Assists the PPM with room turns to ensure vacant apartment homes are rent ready in a timely manner.⢠Completes assigned service requests and repairs as assigned by the PPM consistent with company operating and equipment/supply standards and in a safe a timely manner.⢠Assists in maintaining customer service standards. respond to resident requests as assigned and work with residents to minimize/resolve problems and complaints. Follow-through as directed to ensure issue is resolved.⢠Performs other assigned duties as needed.

What Youll Do:
Communicates clients status, changes in condition, changes in care plan and needs to family members, staff and other professionals
Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
Perform all occupational therapy procedures planned and delegated as prescribed by the provider in the clients place of residence as instructed and supervised by the qualified occupational therapist
Assist clients to and from treatment or training areas and instruct client in pushing wheelchair, supporting or lifting and positioning in and out of bed
Assist client with slings, splints and self-help devices to obtain physical independence
Observe client for signs of distress and adjust activities accordingly
Maintains accurate clinical records, keeping track of goals and progress of clients
Qualifications:
Certified as an occupational therapy assistant by AOTA, American Occupational Therapy Association
Current licensure as a occupational therapist assistant in the state of practice
1 year of occupational therapy assistant experience (preferred)
Must be willing to travel within local geographic area
Complies and maintains current CPR certification.
Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance
