Since opening our doors, we have been fortunate enough to grow quickly and have amazing team members, and hear time and time again from our patients that we are “their solution”. Qualifications JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Licensure: Registered PTA license, or eligible for license, in State of Tennessee. Experience: May be new graduate. Skills: BLS CPR. Good communication and time management skills. Basic computer skills. ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS Works inside a typical physical therapy treatment setting as well as on patient floors or in outpatient clinic. May be required to work a flexible schedule. Exposure to hazardous chemicals and equipment found in a typical therapy setting. May work in outpatient department, inpatient department, or other community events. Rotates weekend / holiday coverage for Department if working in acute care. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL EFFORT Required to display characteristics consistent with registration requirements and ethical practice in Physical Therapy. Substantial amount of walking required. Frequent lifting, bending and reaching required. Moderate amount of stress.
