Overview:
Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Current State license of Physical Therapy. Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation PhysicalTherapist.
Physical Requirements:
Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

The Athletic Trainer will provide athletic training services to the student athletes (7th-12th) in Rogers Public Schools. Friendship Pediatric Services (FPS) is seeking a licensed Pediatric PhysicalTherapist to join our multidisciplinary pediatric therapy team in Rogers, Arkansas. This role focuses on providing high-quality, child-centered physical therapy services to children with developmental delays, disabilities, and medical conditions.

Provides in-service to staff regarding treatment materials and techniques.
Supervises practicum students as requested.
Attends in-service education programs.
Attends job-related short courses, meetings, and conventions provided by FCC.
Reads and researches professional journals and texts.
Assures current technology used with clients.
Provides therapy services to clients in all settings served by the clinic: FCC, clinic, patient's home, and STAR/Adult Services.
Handles assigned case load sufficient to maintain minimum daily rate necessary to operate clinic.
Responsible for paperwork associated with client's records as required by law and licensing agencies.

Accredited PT program graduate
Up-to-date state PT license
Able to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans
Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
Must be passionate about helping patients who have vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall risk issues
1+ year(s) of outpatient neuro/ortho center or vestibular rehab experience
Graduation from an accredited PT program and current PT license in AR
Must be able to carry out and progress a skilled treatment plan in outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation setting
Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn
Passion for working with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk patient population
Prefer at least one year working in outpatient neurological or orthopedic center, or previous vestibular rehab experience

Job Description:
A PhysicalTherapist will examine a patient to determine physical impairments related to injury or disease and will develop a plan of care using treatment techniques to address impairments of movement, pain, and tissue healing, with goals of improving function as well as preventing and minimizing disability. Patient population will consist primarily of outpatient orthopedic, geriatric, neurologic, and sports physical therapy.

▪ Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
▪ Preferred: Masters or Doctorate from an accredited program of Physical Therapy
◦ Experience
▪ No prior experience required
◦ Skills
▪ Good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills and organizational skills required.
▪ Self-motivated individual who can work independently with little direct supervision required
▪ Has demonstrated interest in professional growth by attendance at continuing education workshops, and applications of new principles and/or techniques.
◦ Licensure/Certification/Registration
▪ Required: Active Missouri licensure for Physical Therapy. (Temporary licensure not accepted)
