Job DescriptionAbout the Role
Total Rehab Kids is seeking a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing team. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat children with developmental, neurological, and orthopedic conditions in a supportive outpatient clinic setting. Our mission is to help children reach their highest potential through individualized, play-based therapy and family collaboration.
As a Pediatric PT at Total Rehab Kids, you'll develop personalized treatment plans, provide evidence-based interventions, and empower families with tools to support progress at home. You'll also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team-including occupational and speech therapists-to deliver family-centered care.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
Current Texas Physical Therapy License or eligibility for licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in pediatrics, developmental disorders, or neurorehabilitation.
Certification or training in pediatric-specific interventions (e.g., NDT, sensory integration).
Bilingual in English/Spanish (a plus for family communication).
Key Responsibilities
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for children with a variety of diagnoses.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
Use therapeutic play, functional activities, and age-appropriate exercises to improve mobility, coordination, and strength.
Monitor progress and update treatment goals based on developmental milestones.
Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs, positioning, and mobility strategies.
Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, physicians, and educators to provide integrated care.
