Serve as an advisor to the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator for administrative matters, purchasing of supplies and equipment, and supplemental fiscal requests.
Conduct equipment, product, and literature reviews to ensure the HP program stays current with the provision of care.
Provide input for the development and utilization of required databases.
Conduct peer (record) reviews for the HP Staff as directed.
Assists the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator in developing and updating criteria-based job descriptions and performance standards.
Assist the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator in developing and maintaining clinical practice guidelines to ensure consistency of care across all HP Training Centers (HPTCs) and associated facilities.
Assist with the preparation of short and long-term fiscal plans. Submits input to the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 years or more of demonstrable, accumulated experience (continuous and sustained preferred) of performing manual therapy in the sports medicine field with individual athletes and groups of athletes (experience at the levels of NCAA Division I, Olympic, professional, preferred) in the accompanying, respective settings.
Must maintain credentialing requirements in good standing at the local MTF. The contractor shall be capable of meeting physical demands of training with military including the ability to hike over rough terrain, function in austere environments, and observe military training evolutions. The contractor may be required to assist with strength and conditioning testing and training protocols and lift and manipulate loads or weights up to 25 kilograms.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
EDUCATION: Master's Degree required in Physical Therapy
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) as certified by the American Heart Association. Documentation of such training shall be provided to the COR. The front and back of the BCLS shall be provided to the Credentialing Department of the MTF they are credentialed through
Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in one of any U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands.
Certification through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) as either an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) or Sports Certified Specialist (SCS), or certification through the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) as a certified athletic trainer (ATC) is required.
Credentials such as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) is preferred

· Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess physical status, range of motion, strength, posture, ambulation, balance, and independence in activities of daily living.

What You'll Do:
The primary responsibility of a Kentucky Early Intervention System (KEIS; formerly “First Steps”) provider is to evaluate and provide treatment for pediatric patients between the ages of birth and three years with needs in the areas of physical, social-emotional, self-help, communication, and cognitive development.
KEIS Providers at APT, while working primarily in children's natural environments (homes, daycares, community centers, etc.) also have the opportunity to work in other APT offices and contract locations, depending on the counties/areas served.
PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Developmental Interventionists interested in any of these settings can apply for this position.
KEIS Provider Essential Duties and Responsibilities (all disciplines):
Work closely with patients' caregivers and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) through a Coaching Model. Accurately document treatment sessions as well as progress or evaluation reports in detail.

Maintains professional/technical competencies and proficiencies for job responsibilities and upholds federal/state licensure and ethical expectations.
KEIS Physical Therapist Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements:
Examines and evaluates children from birth to age 3 with a variety of congenital and orthopedic conditions to improve mobility through skilled gross motor interventions including but not limited to gait training, equipment and orthotic management, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercises.
Our ideal candidate holds a doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and an applicable and current, unrestricted license to practice (or in the process of obtaining license).
KEIS Occupational Therapist Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements:
Evaluate children from birth to age 3 for fine motor development, visual motor development, sensory processing and modulation differences, executive functioning skills, and more in order to determine impact on activities of daily living (ADLs), rest and sleep, education, play, leisure, and social participation.
Our ideal candidate holds a masters degree in Occupational Therapy and an applicable and current, unrestricted license to practice (or in the process of obtaining license).
KEIS Speech-Language Pathologist Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements:
Evaluate and treat children from birth to age 3 for speech, language, oral motor, voice, fluency, articulation, or social communication disorders to achieve highest level of functioning and prevent regression.
Our ideal candidate holds a masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an applicable and current, unrestricted license to practice (or in the process of obtaining license).
KEIS Developmental Interventionist Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements:
Evaluate and treat children from birth to age 3 for cognitive and social interaction skills to achieve highest level of functioning and to prevent regression.
Our ideal candidate holds a bachelors degree and an interdisciplinary early childhood education (IECE) certificate, a probationary or emergency IECE certificate, or a valid statement of eligibility for IECE certification issued by the Kentucky Educational Professional Standards Board, Division of Certification.
