We are a specialty pelvic, spine and TMJ clinic, treating adults and kids, providing PT that is personalized, comprehensive and results oriented.
At Purple Mountain PT, our PTs are clinicians at heart who love pelvic health and helping improve patient's lives. We are an out of network, cash based clinic that focuses our attention on clinical excellence and providing our patients a whole person approach to delivering results. Our PTs appreciate the ability to work one-on-one with patients, to provide patients what they need, without the insurance company dictating the plan of care, and to work within a clinic dedicated to clinical excellence and pelvic health.
Our PTs join our team because they share our value of serving patients with clinical excellence. Our PTs value 55 minutes to work one-on-one with patients in a PT owned practice that specializes in pelvic health, spine & TMJ treatments and supports clinical skill development.
You are a good fit for joining our team as our next pelvic health physicaltherapist if:
You love pelvic health, have completed pelvic health continuing education and are experienced treating pelvic health conditions.
You would like to work within a dedicated pelvic health clinic.
You appreciate that at Purple Mountain PT we use a whole body, whole-person framework combining manual therapy, rehabilitative ultrasound, neuromotor training and other treatment methods.
You look forward to using all of your skills to best help the patient. We focus on clinical excellence and PT career satisfaction.
You look forward to having colleagues who can support your growth, engage in clinical skills conversations, help with trouble-shooting treatments for complex patients and encourage your ongoing professional development for pelvic, spine and TMJ treatments.
You appreciate treating one patient per hour.
You are frustrated with dealing with insurance and its downstream effects of causing our profession to treat 2-4 patients each hour, which does not work in pelvic health.
You are enthusiastic towards continuing to advance your treatment approaches and ongoing learning.
Benefits
Extremely competitive salary based on experience: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
You will treat one patient per hour
We work one-on-one with each patient for up to 55 minutes.
You will be trained to use rehabilitative ultrasound imaging to teach pelvic floor and deep core retraining. It's a game-changer and you are going to love having this technology!
Our PTs have extensive manual therapy techniques and certifications that are used in private treatment rooms.
We use applied biomechanics and movement retraining in our gym setting while continuously teaching patients how to move, adapt, load transfer, train their pelvic floor, control intra-abdominal pressure, balance, stack their posture and alleviate jaw, neck, back, pelvic and nerve pain.
We include pain neuroscience education, neural calming and motivational interviewing into our treatment sessions.
Our founder continues to treat patients and has taught PTs, urogynecology fellows, medical residents, at the International Pelvic Pain Society conference and for H&W lab assisting, among other things. This insight and clinical experience is shared, allowing mentorship and enhancement of your clinical skills and fully supporting the ability to meet patients' needs.
We treat adults and children, serving patients from all over the state of Michigan and beyond. Patients choose us because of our strong reputation for delivering results. You would be joining a clinic known for excellence.
We are out of network & cash based. This model removes much of the headaches that are lowering PT career satisfaction.
Do you have these attributes?
A commitment to excellence in your clinical skills.
Demonstrated pelvic health experience.
A positive attitude and desire to support the team and the patient.
