Job Description:
The core responsibility of this position is to plan and administer physical therapy treatment plans designed to alleviate pain, restore function, prevent disabilities and promote overall fitness and health of patients.
Accountabilities:
1. Team Member: Works under the direction of the clinic director in providing skilled physical therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results of patients. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management. Attends meetings as requested. Perform other duties as assigned.
2. Daily Operations: Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; recommend follow-up programs. Maintain patient records confidentiality. Supervises and directs Physical Therapy Assistants in direct patient care and related activities as requested.
3. Clinical Operations: Maintain work area, exam rooms, and supplies. Maintain a professional appearance and personal conduct at all times. Follows all of Dynamix Physical Therapy policies and procedures. Keep regular clinic hours as approved by the clinic director.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program.
Current Physical Therapist license.
