Position Overview: At OrthoArkansas, our Physical Therapists are movement experts and patient advocates who help people get back to doing what they love. In this outpatient orthopedic role, you'll create personalized care plans, ease pain, restore mobility, and empower patients to achieve their goals. Whether you're helping someone recover from surgery or prevent future injury, your work will make a meaningful difference every day-right where it counts. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Implement individualized care plans with daily treatment sessions to address areas identified in the initial evaluation. Utilize various modality interventions to manage and alleviate patient symptoms. Complete initial evaluations, including visual assessments, measurements, and hands-on interpretations, to establish effective care plans. Documentation and Compliance: Complete and maintain accurate patient documentation using the Athena EHR system, adhering to state and federal guidelines. Follow company policies and procedures, including OSHA standards and HIPAA guidelines. Clinic Management: Organize and maintain therapy clinic equipment and supplies, ensuring a safe and obstacle-free working environment. Use chemical cleaners to sanitize treatment tables, workspaces, and equipment. Patient Interaction: Interact with patients closely and sensitively, providing hands-on movement and support. Develop and foster positive rapport with patients, their families, administrative and medical staff, and fellow employees. Team Collaboration: Supervise and provide education and training to Physical Therapy Assistants and therapy techs as needed. Additional Responsibilities: Perform any other related duties as required or assigned to support the therapy clinic's operations and patient care. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program. 0 to 6 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations: Licensed by the state of Arkansas Physical Therapy Board. Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program. Preferred Certifications: Orthopedic Certified Specialist. Certified Sports Specialist. Manual Therapy Certification. Software Skills: Intermediate proficiency in word processing/typing and other relevant software.
